A lawyer who establishes a fake Facebook page in an attempt to get evidence for a case can suffer a one-year suspension. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court recently ordered a one year (and a day) suspension of a former district attorney who created a fake page, using a fake name, finding that the attorney engaged in deception.
