RK is please to announce that seasoned trial attorney, Bob Fitzsimmons, has joined the firm’s Miami office.

Bob brings with him 26 years of experience handling and trying a broad variety of commercial and insurance related cases and is board certified in field of construction law.  His substantial knowledge and experience of both liability and insurance issues enables him to excel in the handling of complex and difficult cases.

Bob’s professional activities extend far beyond the courtroom.  He is an active member of the Defense Research Institute’s Construction Committee, serving as the Chair of the Construction Contract and Delay Damages Specialized Law Group, is Membership Chair of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) Construction Committee, serves as Webpage Chair of the IADC Toxic Tort Committee, is an active member of the Florida Bar Construction Committee and Vice Chair of the Miami Dade County Bar Association Construction Committee.

His community involvement had included serving as a Trustee Member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, First Vice President of the Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce, and appointed member of the City of Miami Heritage Preservation Board, President of the Coconut Grove Civic Club, President of the Coconut Grove Park Homeowners’ Association, Director of the Coconut Grove Local Development Corporation and Chair of the Miami Dade County School Overcrowding Task Force.
