RumbergerKirk attorneys Scott Sarason and Erin Weinstock joined a panel discussion during the Miami-Dade Bar Florida Law Con event. The panel, “Bridging the Communication Gap,” included lawyers from the Baby Boomer, Millennial and Gen Z generations.

The conversation centered on communicating between the generations including the preferred or different communication methods–from face to face, telephone, email or text message. The panelists agreed that despite the different methods of communicating, the generations can learn from each other. They also shared that regardless of the method, it’s important to to ensure information is communicated clearly and opinions and recommendations are supported with facts and legal precedent.

Scott emphasized that discussing the importance of good communication is a valuable mentoring lesson in which all lawyers can benefit.
