Chambers USA 2008 Recognizes RumbergerKirk for Litigation
ORLANDO, FL – RumbergerKirk and one of the firm’s founding partners, W.L. “Bud” Kirk, have earned recognition in Chambers USA 2008 – a prestigious, independently compiled listing of America’s top law firms and attorneys.
Orlando-based RumbergerKirk was recognized under the category of “Litigation: General Commercial.” Chambers cited the firm’s outstanding record in representing automotive manufacturers on high-stakes product liability defense matters as one particular reason for the listing. The publication’s editors also listed the firm’s depth – namely its nearly 70 litigators working from four Florida offices – as an area of strength.
One of Chambers’ sources said about RumbergerKirk, “The team defends complex and sophisticated matters with huge amounts of financial risk, and do so vigorously and very effectively.”
Also earning Chambers’ praise was partner W.L. “Bud” Kirk. Similar to the firm’s overall listing, Kirk’s mention emphasized his experience defending automotive industry clients. Chambers indicated that Kirk’s “unique knowledge of the federal safety rules” and his “extensive network of great relationships” supported the decision to include him in the 2008 publication.
Chambers USA 2008 is the result of 14,000 confidential, in-depth interviews conducted across the United States over a period of six months. In compiling its list, Chambers speaks with a vast range of lawyers and their clients, with greater weighting given to the views of the clients. The British Market Research Bureau has approved Chambers’ methodology for the research into the strengths and reputations of U.S. attorneys.
