Craig Alexander Appointed to Chair the ADLA Amicus Curiae Committee
Craig Alexander has been appointed Chair of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (ADLA) Amicus Curiae Committee. The committee, of which Alexander has been a member for over 14 years, is responsible for evaluating amicus brief requests in appeals potentially raising issues of particular significance to the defense bar or to the fair administration of justice. As chair of the committee, Alexander will oversee the evaluation process, review and approve the filing of all amicus briefs, and prepare reports on the committee’s activities for publication in the ADLA Journal.
“I am very much looking forward to my new role in carrying out this important committee’s mission, and to continuing to work with the very capable and selfless ADLA members who volunteer their time and energy to serve on this committee,” said Alexander.
