A well-drafted contract benefits both the executive and the employer. During a presentation for the Florida Society of Association Executives, employment attorneys Nicole Smith and Derek Dzwonkowski presented the important factors for CEO’s to consider when negotiating their next contract. They discussed key terms for contracts between executives and their associations/organizations, as well as the need to specifically identify metrics and how such metrics would be measured in bonus compensation packages.

They also shared the daily impacts that AI has on businesses, including decision-making, data privacy and workplace dynamics. They discussed the need for artificial intelligence to help mitigate risks, protect employee rights, and enhance productivity and included what information should be considered when drafting the policies.
