The sudden onset of COVID-19 presented a workplace challenge for every employer as governmental decisions prompted employers to make quick decisions about business operations and the impact on employee relations. Unlike hurricanes and snowstorms, COVID-19’s impact was far more personal and far more wide ranging because every geographic region was affected at the same time.
