Mentoring plays a key role in Rumberger’s culture and that doesn’t mean just mentoring our own. Nicole Smith and Linda Edwards attended a Women in Pre-Law Society (WIPS) general meeting at Florida State University on Wednesday, February 21 to offer guidance to those women who are looking at law as a career.

“We talked about making the decision to attend law school, as well as what the practice of law is about including challenges we face as female attorneys,” said Linda Edwards. “We encouraged them to read about areas of the law that might interest them and reminded them about the significance of networking,” she added.

“It was a pleasure having you both in attendance. The information you all shared was extremely beneficial to our members as they dive into their careers,” said Madison Driscoll, president of WIPS at FSU.
