Planning A Return To The Office: Consider How To Improve Employee Comfort Levels, Forbes
Chase Hattaway is quoted in an article, “Planning A Return To The Office: Consider How To Improve Employee Comfort Levels,” published by Forbes on September 9 that explores the effect of surging cases tied to the Delta variant and the increased safety and emotional concerns among employees. The article looks at new new research from Paychex, conducted with Future Workplace in August 202 that polled 630 U.S. workers employed at small- and mid-sized businesses to get their perspective.
While employers look for ways to return workers safely, many have turned to vaccine mandates. Nearly 25% of those polled indicated they would leave their job if mandated to get the COVID-19 vaccine. “If employees leave their employer over the vaccine mandate, they may be violating a company policy and possibly ineligible for unemployment benefits. A critical factor is that employers have a clear policy in place and communicate this policy to all employees,” says Chase Hattaway.
