Rebecca Beers joins a class of 53 emerging business and community leaders from across the state of Alabama who represent a wide variety of industries and communities. The six-month program is comprised of three two-day retreats where program participants connect with statewide experts to increase their knowledge on issues impacting Alabama, bond with like-minded leaders throughout the state and have opportunities for personal development.

“The Initiative exposes young leaders to the decision makers in Alabama who are sensitive to the challenges we face as a state, and it provides the participants with the unique opportunity to step inside the circle of decision makers and problem solvers who mold the future of our state,” said Ashley Whatley, program director.

The Leadership Alabama board members, along with previous graduates from the Initiative, select members through a competitive process.
