It was a big weekend for RumbergerKirk Miami attorneys Erin Weinstock and Brittney Polo whose outstanding leadership capabilities were on full display during The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Affiliate Outreach Conference (AOC) on February 7-8, 2025 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando.

Erin Weinstock received the “36 Under 36 Professionalism Award” and was honored for her outstanding contributions to the legal profession and for exemplifying the highest standards of professionalism. In addition, in her capacity as President-Elect of the Miami-Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section, she and the leaders were recognized with the President’s Award for the best overall grant presentation.

“We performed a skit/infomercial instead of doing a typical PowerPoint presentation,” shared Erin. “The presentation was to obtain funds for a new program called Deposition Depot. It is essentially a deposition workshop for young lawyers in Miami-Dade,” she explained.

Brittney Polo is a leader in two other organizations that were recognized for their excellent programming and leadership at the AOC. The Broward County Bar Association, where Brittney is serving as the Secretary, was recognized as the Best Affiliate. The Miami-Dade Florida Association for Women Lawyers (MDFAWL) teamed up with the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association to host the Women’s Leadership Academy, which received the Best Joint Event Award. Brittney served on the MDFAWL committee for the Women’s Leadership Academy and also was a member of the inaugural class of the academy.
