Caldwell  has been recognized as the 2023 “Lawyer of the Year” for Insurance Law in the Orlando area by Best Lawyers in America© rankings.  “Lawyer of the Year” awards attorneys with the highest overall peer-feedback for a specific practice area and geographic location. Only one attorney is recognized as the “Lawyer of the Year” for each specialty and location. This is the second time Caldwell has been recognized with this honor, the first in 2016.

A significant part of Caldwell’s practice is focused on defending insurance companies in bad faith and coverage litigation. She prosecutes declaratory judgment actions, tries complex and high exposure defense cases, and provides counseling and training on claims handling, bad faith and various coverage issues.
