Scott Sarason Elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA)
RumbergerKirk partner Scott Sarason is elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and the Miami Chapter of ABOTA.
Dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial provided by the Seventh Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, ABOTA members must exhibit high personal character, hold an honorable reputation and demonstrate proficiency as a trial lawyer.
“I’m honored to become a part of an organization filled with highly skilled attorneys who demonstrate professional civility and integrity,” said Sarason.
Sarason defends clients in state and federal courts in Florida and across the United States. With more than 29 years of litigation experience, Sarason represents clients in cases involving product liability, admiralty/maritime claims, commercial litigation, securities claims, premises liability, construction litigation and professional liability.
Within RumbergerKirk, Sarason is administrative partner in the firm’s Miami office. He served for several years as the firm’s managing partner and has been a member of its Executive Committee.
The American Board of Trial Advocates, founded in 1958, is an organization dedicated to defending the American civil justice system. With a membership of 6,700 experienced attorneys representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil cases, ABOTA is uniquely qualified to speak about the value of the constitutionally mandated jury system as the protector of the rights of persons and property.
