MIAMI – April 8, 2016 – RumbergerKirk is pleased to announce that Miami partner Scott Sarason has been selected to serve on the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Professionalism and Civility Committee. In 1998, the Supreme Court of Florida issued an Administrative Order In re: Commission on Professionalism, directing each Chief Judge to maintain in continuous operation a Circuit Committee on Professionalism.

The Committee shall discuss, monitor and/or coordinate professionalism activities within the Circuit, and may take action deemed appropriate by the Committee in furtherance of promoting and encouraging professionalism within the legal community.
The members will serve on two separate panels consisting of three members each on a rotating quarterly basis for two years.
“I am humbled to be selected for this important duty,” said Sarason. “Scott’s appointment continues our firm’s efforts to encourage professionalism and civility among our own attorneys and staff and also shows that RumbergerKirk is helping lead the effort within the legal community” said Managing Partner Frank Sheppard.
