The Hillsborough County Bar Association (HCBA) Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee hosted a Diversity Fair & Path to Unity Luncheon on Monday, February 13. The event featured the Path to Unity exhibit sponsored by the Florida Bar’s Standing Committee on Diversity and Inclusion which honors five trailblazing attorneys in Florida who exemplify the values for The Florida Bar’s mission for equality.

This was the first Path to Unity event that brought together the only two living trailblazing attorneys–Larry Smith and James Kracht. They shared their personal stories to add depth and perspective to the presentation.

In addition, the Diversity Fair CLE will include a panel of attorneys discussing multigenerational workforce benefits and challenges and religious/cultural differences in the workplace. Larry Smith also participated in the panel discussion.
