Two RumbergerKirk Attorneys Recognized as “Women to Watch”
The Miami-Dade Florida Association for Women Lawyers (MDFAWL) held its Inaugural 2025 Impact Awards on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. During the event they recognized 15 “Women to Watch” including RumbergerKirk attorneys Brittney Polo and Erin Weinstock. Honorees were chosen based on their accomplishments, contributions to the legal community and the work they do each day. In addition to building on their success at work, both Brittney and Erin are extremely active with local bar association communities, including MDFAWL.

Brittney focuses her practice on casualty litigation representing clients in negligence claims involving personal injury, motor vehicle accident claims, wrongful death and property damage. Brittney represents the Eleventh Circuit on The Florida Bar Board of Governors Young Lawyers Division. During the past year, she focused on enhancing mentorship programs and providing invaluable guidance to both young lawyers and law students. She also serves as the secretary of the Broward County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and as the Women’s Leadership Academy Committee Co-Chair for MDFAWL. She was recognized in 2024 for the Miami Dade-Bar YSL 40 Under 40 Award.
“Yes, we can! Si, se puede! From Atticus Finch to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the practice of law is a noble profession, and it is up to those who comprise it to protect it,” said Brittney in her platform statement for her 2025 candidacy for The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors.

Erin focuses her practice in complex litigation matters, with a primary focus on construction defect and asbestos litigation. Her practice extends to the aviation sector, where she defends airlines in matters ranging from personal injury claims to breach of contract issues.
Erin serves as the President-Elect of the Miami-Dade County Bar Association Young Lawyers Board of Directors. She also is the co-chair of the MDFAWL’s social media committee. She has been regularly recognized throughout the industry and has received the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division: 36 Under Thirty-Six Professionalism Award (2025), Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star: Construction Litigation (2024), Miami-Dade Bar Association: Circle of Excellence Rising Leader in Construction Litigation (2024), and the Miami-Dade Bar YLS: 40 Under 40 Award (2023).
Erin’s active involvement is based on her fundamental belief that the legal profession thrives through active mutual support. “My dedication to the firm, my practice, and the organizations I’m involved in comes from seeing firsthand how our collective efforts elevate the practice of law and serve our community far more effectively than any of us could individually,” she shared.
